Age of Learning, Inc. is seeking an Animator (Mid-Senior Level) to create engaging and high-quality animated content for our educational products. You will be responsible for bringing characters, user interfaces, and educational concepts to life through motion.
What You'll Do
- Design and produce smooth, compelling 2D and/or 3D animations for characters, UI elements, and narrative sequences.
- Collaborate closely with art directors, concept artists, and instructional designers to realize the visual and pedagogical vision.
- Ensure animations are optimized for performance across target platforms and devices.
- Participate in creative reviews, provide and incorporate feedback to iterate on animation quality.
- Maintain organized files and adhere to established production pipelines and naming conventions.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of professional animation experience, ideally in games, interactive media, or educational content.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in character animation, motion principles, and visual storytelling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Spine, or 3D packages like Maya or Blender.
- Ability to work from storyboards, animatics, and style guides to meet creative and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
