US Anesthesia Partners, Inc. is hiring an Anesthesiologist (OB)

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, clinical, and administrative leadership for obstetric anesthesia services
  • Partner closely with obstetric and hospital leadership to advance safety, quality, and operational excellence
  • Support education and team development within the labor and delivery environment
  • Promote best practices for high-risk obstetrics, including complex placental pathologies
  • Support an educational culture of clinical excellence, safety, and mentorship
  • Participate in and help lead institutional quality initiatives, including OBQI Committee, Perinatal Quality Committee, Surgical Quality Council
  • Contribute to development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards
  • Engage in QVR and RCA processes to drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain a close partnership with the OB Director of Quality & Safety
  • Provide operational and administrative oversight for obstetric anesthesia
  • Collaborate with OB leadership and hospital administrators on service line goals, staffing, and performance

Requirements

  • Accomplished, collaborative physician leader
  • Leadership experience in obstetric anesthesiology
  • Ability to provide strategic, clinical, and administrative leadership
  • Experience in high-acuity, high-throughput obstetric anesthesia practice
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
  • Experience supporting education and team development
  • Experience with high-risk obstetrics and complex placental pathologies

Nice to Have

  • Physician leader for a major service line
  • Affiliation or collaboration with academic institutions
  • Experience with institutional quality initiatives (e.g., OBQI, Perinatal Quality, Surgical Quality Council)
  • Experience in policy and procedure development
  • Experience in QVR and RCA processes

  • Approximately 8,000 deliveries annually at Swedish Medical Center
  • Swedish is a quaternary referral center offering full spectrum of maternal care
  • On-site Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) department
  • High-volume Placenta Accreta Spectrum service
  • Established OB/Gyn residency program
  • Rotating anesthesia residents from University of Washington and Virginia Mason Medical Center
