Responsibilities
- Design and implement core components of the Android Framework, including ActivityManager, WindowManager, and PackageManager
- Enhance inter-process communication and system service performance using Binder and ContentProvider
- Diagnose and resolve compatibility problems arising from app interactions with system APIs
- Improve application lifecycle handling to increase overall system reliability
- Support and extend essential system features such as permission controls and multitasking capabilities
- Conduct performance tuning at the system level, focusing on app launch time, UI responsiveness, and memory efficiency
- Investigate and resolve critical stability issues including crashes and application not responding (ANR) errors
- Contribute to early research and development of features planned for future Android releases
