Responsibilities
- Build next-generation IoT applications targeting smart building systems.
- Work closely with cloud and firmware engineers across disciplines to enhance software deployed in commercial buildings, reducing HVAC-related energy use while ensuring optimal comfort and productivity.
- Design, develop, test, and release new features for an Android-based gateway application that enables smart building operations and connects to cloud services.
- Apply knowledge of software quality attributes to influence daily development practices and product outcomes.
- Support and evaluate methodologies used in software design and modeling documentation.
- Create clear documentation for internal workflows and external customer assistance.
- Engage in agile-driven, multi-site development efforts across international teams.
- Partner with product and test leads to define user stories and finalize acceptance criteria, including test planning.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving field issues through comprehensive system impact assessments.
- Adhere to secure coding standards throughout the development lifecycle.
