HP is seeking a Senior Android Camera Engineer to join our India & Growing Market Development Centre. In this role, you will lead BSP software development for HP's Laptop, PC, and IOT product lineup, focusing on building and optimizing software for camera systems, including image processing, algorithms, and hardware integration.

What You'll Do

Lead the development of BSP software for Laptop, PC, and IOT products.
Develop the Camera App for mobile and devices.
Work on camera software stacks including camera framework, camera HAL, and kernel driver controller.
Analyze and debug general camera issues.
Collaborate with camera sensor vendors for Camera Sensor module bring-up.
Improve Camera performance, power, and memory and develop related tools to validate them.

What We're Looking For

B.Tech/M.Tech with 7+/5+ years of experience respectively.
Strong analytical & programming skills in C/C++/Java/Kotlin.
Expert in Android Camera Stack.
Strong understanding of operating system concepts with hands-on experience in multithreaded & multicore environments.
Deep understanding (hands-on development) of Linux Kernel & device drivers.
Working knowledge of SCM tools (git hub) & developer tools (Android Studio).
Strong debugging skills (crash/memory/panic, etc.).
Responsible team player with good communication skills.
Ability to technically lead a team of engineers and maintain effective communication.
Quick learner of new concepts with a creative mindset.
Ability to decipher requirements into actionable tasks with a clear outcome.

Nice to Have

Good understanding of Android architecture, MM framework, buffer management, and Android HAL layer adaptation.
Experience in Camera development on Qualcomm/MediaTek platforms.
