Responsibilities
- Design and implement SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into centralized data storage environments
- Construct and manage ETL workflows and data pipelines to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and delivered on time
- Develop and refine data models and database structures to meet analytical and reporting needs
- Produce interactive dashboards and visualizations using platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to present findings to business stakeholders
- Conduct statistical evaluations and interpret data to uncover trends, patterns, and irregularities
- Work closely with data scientists, business analysts, and product teams to define data needs and implement effective solutions
- Track and enhance database performance, query efficiency, and pipeline reliability
- Maintain documentation of data workflows, transformations, and technical details for team alignment and regulatory compliance
- Diagnose and resolve data quality problems to preserve data accuracy and consistency
- Keep up with evolving industry standards and new technologies in data engineering and analytics
