Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable data architectures using tools from the modern data stack such as dbt and Snowflake
- Convert unprocessed data into accurate, well-documented datasets for analytics, reporting, and operational systems
- Partner with data engineers, analysts, tracking specialists, and business teams to define data needs and ensure consistency
- Establish and manage data validation, testing, and monitoring processes to maintain high data integrity
- Create and oversee semantic layers to standardize definitions and governance of core business metrics
- Enhance data usability across departments by advocating for clear data models and best practices
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data structures, definitions, and processing workflows
- Support data governance, harmonization, and automation projects, including enabling analytics for AI applications
