Responsibilities
- Researching potential investment opportunities; providing research on target companies, sectors, industries, and geographies
- Evaluating investment opportunities and participating in the execution of principal investments
- Developing financial models with a range of complexity for principal transactions
- Assisting in the management of due diligence processes, including managing third-party advisors
- Assisting in developing the strategy, business plan, and objectives of portfolio investments
- Managing and aggregating asset-level reporting for portfolio investments
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, statistics, computer science or other related fields
- Exceptional academic results (minimum cGPA of 80% or 3.7/4.0)
- Ability to concisely communicate complex concepts and ideas verbally and in writing
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision
- Desire to assume increasing levels of responsibility and seek solutions to complex problems
- Committed to producing accurate and thorough work product under tight deadlines
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
- Resilient mindset in the face of adversity
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
