Responsibilities
- Help plan and manage events
- Enter data into Blackbaud
- Organize and maintain up-to-date files
- Monitor several email inboxes
- Communicate with alumni by phone and email
- Create correspondence and execute mailings using mail merges
- Attend occasional office and departmental meetings
- Work some evenings and weekends
Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Experience with G Suite applications including Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms
- Familiar with video conferencing software such as Zoom
- Able to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and customer service orientation
- Solid professional written and verbal communication skills to interact with staff and external constituents
- Demonstrates strong commitment and high reliability
- Well organized, detail oriented, articulate, and able to multitask
- Able to work independently and make thoughtful decisions both in person and remotely
- Broad knowledge of campus departments to answer and direct inquiries
- On-campus events require in-person participation, proof of vaccination, and adherence to College COVID-19 protocols
- Offer contingent on successful completion of a criminal background check
- Offer contingent on completing PCI DSS training and signing the PCI Security Awareness and Confidentiality Agreement for personnel with access to credit card information
Nice to Have

- This is a Middlebury student Level C position
- Part-time summer position averaging 20 hours per week, with opportunity for increased hours later in summer—particularly during weeks leading up to and including the Alumni College event
