The African Leadership University is forming a dynamic faculty pool to meet the needs of its rapidly growing academic programs. As we expand our reach across campuses in Kigali and Port Louis, as well as through a connected network of regional learning hubs, we invite experienced educators to join us in redefining higher education in Africa.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction for existing modules across disciplines, using established curricula
- Design and develop new courses aligned with degree pathways, from short intensive formats to full-term offerings
- Teach in asynchronous, synchronous, or hybrid modes depending on program needs
- Ensure all academic work meets rigorous standards and learning outcomes
- Submit required documentation, including CV and, where applicable, course syllabi for new offerings
Qualifications
- Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field
- At least three years of professional experience in the subject area
- Specialization Coaches: Master’s with two years’ experience, or Bachelor’s with five years’ experience
- Foundations Coaches: Bachelor’s degree
- Notarized academic credentials
- Equivalency certification for degrees earned outside Rwanda (for those based in Rwanda)
- Valid national ID and signed resume
Work Environment
Faculty enjoy high flexibility in course delivery, with options for remote, in-person, and blended instruction. Appointments are made across a Pan-African network of learning centers, supporting a globally connected, locally rooted educational model.
