About the Role

This position drives revenue by identifying and securing new business opportunities with partners and clients who leverage non-traditional data for decision-making. The ideal candidate will combine sales expertise with a deep understanding of data products to support customer growth and market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities for alternative data offerings
  • Develop relationships with potential partner organizations
  • Present product capabilities to technical and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for client needs
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales agreements
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecasts
  • Stay informed about industry trends in data and analytics
  • Support marketing initiatives with customer insights
  • Attend industry events and networking functions
  • Provide feedback from clients to product development teams
  • Manage sales pipelines using CRM tools
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with prospects and existing contacts
  • Educate partners on integration and use cases of data products
  • Work across time zones to support regional clients
  • Track key performance metrics for sales activities
  • Coordinate with legal and compliance teams during onboarding
  • Deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concept trials
  • Respond to RFPs and sales inquiries promptly
  • Align sales strategy with overall business goals
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive landscape

  • Master’s degree in business or data-related discipline
  • Prior experience in data analytics or SaaS sales
  • Existing network in fintech or alternative data space
  • Experience with API-based data platforms
