Requirements
- Proven experience in designing GPFS architecture on Power7 systems
- Hands-on installation of GPFS within AIX environments
- Expertise in tuning and resolving issues in GPFS environments
- Experience performing GPFS software upgrades
- Skill in resizing and migrating GPFS LUNs
- Minimum of five years as a systems administrator in AIX environments, at a senior level
- Three years managing high-performance computing clusters and three years implementing system virtualization, both at a senior level
- Comprehensive experience installing and configuring AIX 5.x and 6.x on Power4, Power5, Power6, including HACMP, VIOS, and virtual server environments such as LPAR, DLPAR, and VPAR
- Senior-level performance optimization and capacity planning across AIX platforms
- Demonstrated ability in architecting and designing IBM server infrastructure
- Proficiency across multiple UNIX and Linux variants, including AIX, RedHat, CentOS, and Solaris
- Strong knowledge of scripting and programming including shell, Perl, C, C++, along with experience in Apache, Samba, Kerberos, IPMI, SVN, Python, DNS, and Active Directory integration
- Advanced troubleshooting capabilities across complex systems
- Senior experience managing large-scale Unix infrastructures
- Experience with service monitoring and SLA management in enterprise environments

- Familiarity with tools such as Make, GNU Autoconf, Torque, MOAB, and Kickstart is advantageous
