Northramp LLC is hiring an AI Engineer (Mid)

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI-powered application systems on Google Cloud Platform, emphasizing agentic workflows using Google's Agent Development Kit and Gemini Pro.
• Create human-in-the-loop AI systems by defining agent roles, tool interactions, orchestration logic, and safeguards to ensure accountable and traceable AI behavior.
• Incorporate AI and machine learning features such as Vertex AI, Gemini APIs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation into enterprise applications built with Java and Python through modular APIs and microservices.
• Lead decisions on application architecture including data routing, context handling, session continuity, and state persistence in agent-based systems.
• Work closely with data engineering and cloud architecture teams to ensure AI solutions are built on accurate, governed, and high-quality data sources.
• Perform technical architecture evaluations, establish coding standards for AI-integrated systems, and guide development teams in applying agentic design principles.
• Assess potential AI use cases for practicality, risk exposure, and alignment with mission objectives; build and test prototypes before full-scale implementation.
• Support ethical AI development by promoting transparency, human review mechanisms, audit trails, and compliance with federal AI governance policies.
• Monitor advancements in Google's AI tools and platforms, including Gemini, ADK, and Vertex AI Agent Builder, and advise teams on strategic adoption.
