ília is seeking a skilled AI Engineer to architect and build a Generative AI-powered Knowledge Assistant. You'll create an application that combines Large Language Models (LLMs) with a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system, enabling users to extract information efficiently. The project also involves using OCR to build a robust knowledge base from documents and images. You'll own the entire architecture, from frontend to backend, using Azure or AWS services.
What You'll Do
- Prototype, develop, and maintain the application's frontend and backend, ensuring a good user experience and robust performance.
- Implement and optimize the RAG workflow, integrating a vector database for document indexing and AI models for text generation.
- Design, deploy, and manage applications in a cloud environment (AWS/Azure), using serverless architecture and containers.
- Develop a tagging and permissions system to ensure segregated access to different content types.
- Integrate authentication and authorization systems to guarantee data security.
- Work closely with the team to define requirements, solve technical problems, and deliver a scalable and reliable solution.
- Develop robust and scalable APIs to connect the frontend to the backend, ensuring efficient communication.
What We're Looking For
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with mastery of modern languages and frameworks (e.g., Python with Flask/Django, Node.js with Express, React, Vue.js, etc.), with more than 5 years of experience.
- Solid knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases.
- Deep knowledge of at least one of the following cloud platforms: Azure or AWS.
- Experience implementing RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Strong knowledge of generative AI, language models (LLMs), and architectures like RAG.
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD methodologies, and version control systems (git).
- Ability to work in a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in AI projects focused on virtual assistants or intelligent chatbots.
- Knowledge in development frameworks like LangChain, Semantic Kernel, etc.
- Previous experience building applications with semantic search systems or knowledge assistants.
- Certifications in Azure or AWS.
- Knowledge of application security and data privacy for AI.
- Advanced English.
