Responsibilities
- Develop and refine analytics features powered by large language models, including agent-based workflows, natural language queries, retrieval-augmented generation, and tool integration across structured and unstructured data sources.
- Enhance systems that translate plain text into SQL and build semantic layers enabling non-technical users to safely and accurately query healthcare datasets.
- Create retrieval pipelines using vector search and hybrid methods combining keyword and semantic techniques over document stores.
- Implement evaluation frameworks, safety checks, and hallucination detection to ensure high accuracy in healthcare-specific contexts.
- Support data governance and compliance in AI systems by ensuring insights are derived without exposing protected health or personal information and enforcing access controls.
- Connect various data sources and tools—such as data warehouses, campaign platforms, web systems, and document repositories—into unified agent workflows.
- Deploy, manage, and monitor AI services on AWS, tracking model performance, response time, and operational costs.
- Work closely with product teams, analysts, and senior engineers to turn requirements into functional, production-ready features.
