Responsibilities
- Create software components and technical designs aligned with business and technical specifications.
- Evaluate and enhance Java and Spring Boot applications to boost code quality, scalability, maintainability, and system performance.
- Minimize technical debt through adoption of coding best practices and code quality enhancements.
- Utilize AI-driven development tools like GitHub Copilot, Devin, or comparable platforms to speed up code review, refactoring, and documentation tasks.
- Work with engineering teams to detect performance issues and recommend technical optimizations.
- Assist in backend and frontend development efforts in line with current engineering practices.
- Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline activities.
- Record technical designs and development progress using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ALM systems.
- Engage with production support teams as needed to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Ensure software complies with cybersecurity policies, quality benchmarks, and development standards.
