Responsibilities
- Deploy and expand security measures across custom-built applications and AI-integrated systems
- Collaborate directly with development teams to integrate security throughout the software and AI development processes
- Assist in designing secure technical architectures and operationalizing security standards in coordination with security architects
- Lead security projects from initiation to completion and help enhance application and AI security capabilities
- Assess and validate security tools for AI and applications, including red teaming, gateways, DAST, SAST, SCA, API, and mobile security
- Integrate, configure, and scale security tools across application and AI environments with emphasis on coverage and effectiveness
- Use AI and automation technologies like Python, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines to improve vulnerability management and developer support
- Analyze, verify, and rank security findings from tools, evaluate risk in context, and coordinate remediation with engineering teams
- Offer practical security guidance to developers, including those using low-code and no-code platforms, on secure coding and integration
- Conduct security evaluations of AI platforms, models, agents, skills, and third-party integrations using established controls
- Create and maintain secure coding standards, technical guidance, and system guardrails for application and AI use cases
- Monitor emerging threats in cybersecurity, especially in AI, and apply relevant defenses to tools and engineering practices
- Promote a strong security culture by mentoring junior staff, sharing expertise, and improving organizational security maturity
