Booz Allen Hamilton is looking for an AI and ML Engineer to develop and maintain machine learning models supporting national security clients. In this role, you will lead the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying ML algorithms and introducing leading-edge technologies.
What You'll Do
- Train, test, deploy, and maintain machine learning models that learn from data.
- Lead the direction of mission-critical solutions by applying best-fit ML algorithms and introducing leading-edge technologies.
- Share knowledge with a large community of machine learning engineers across the company.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners to deliver solutions that process data at massive scale.
- Guide clients as they navigate the landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience designing and developing AI, ML, or Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions to guide LLM behavior and responses.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and optimizing prompts for accuracy, consistency, and relevance across varied scenarios.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams translating business needs into actionable tasks by designing context-aware prompts and integrating prompt engineering into broader AI development pipelines.
- Experience using AI tools or frameworks, including OpenAI, LangChain, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, or Python.
- Knowledge of deploying AI tools in the Cloud.
- Knowledge of large language models (LLMs) and front-end applications.
- Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
Nice to Have
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud deployments.
- 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture.
- Ability to design creative and effective prompts to solve complex problems.
- Ability to display an analytical mindset for evaluating and iterating on prompt performance.
