United to Learn is hiring an Advancement Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead and maintain the organization’s CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of donor interactions, pledges, and payments, while generating analytical reports
  • Drive annual fundraising initiatives through targeted campaigns such as the End-of-Year Appeal, Learning Launch, and North Texas Giving Day
  • Research potential donors and analyze market trends to uncover new funding opportunities in foundation, corporate, and individual giving sectors
  • Support team operations with administrative duties and other responsibilities as assigned
  • Show initiative in learning and improving personal performance and functional expertise
  • Monitor, structure, and assess key performance indicators established by the Advancement Team
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and manage concurrent projects while collaborating with internal and external partners
  • Build, manage, and extract reports from the Salesforce CRM platform
  • Process all donations, including in-kind and monetary gifts, and ensure accurate, timely recording of pledges, grant agreements, soft credits, and donor relationships
  • Design and deploy online forms for fundraising campaigns and events on the organization’s website
  • Lead the creation and distribution of materials for fundraising initiatives
  • Assist in planning and executing events for donors and community groups
  • Develop and manage project timelines, seeking clarification when necessary
  • Collaborate with the Operations team on monthly revenue reconciliation processes
  • Prepare clear, compelling presentations and reports for stakeholders
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Foster trust-based relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Exercise strong interpersonal skills to promote inclusion and connection across teams and communities
  • Cultivate new partnerships and strengthen existing ones to advance organizational goals
  • Reflect the organization’s values through a professional, approachable presence with staff, volunteers, and partners
  • Treat all individuals with dignity and offer timely, constructive feedback when appropriate

  • Valid driver’s license and active insurance coverage are required
  • A current background check is mandatory
  • Vaccination status must comply with Dallas ISD school requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Willingness and availability to lead or attend events during mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
