We are seeking an Advanced Platform Software Engineer to join our NC3 business segment. In this role, you will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing the next generation of NC3 strategic deterrence systems.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement features.
- Participate in code reviews to discuss and ensure software quality.
- Lead the software development process.
- Provide technical leadership and position others for success.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
- 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Nice to Have
- Agile experience.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
- Software testing methodologies (Unit, Functional, Integration, etc.).
- Familiarity with at least one mainstream IDE (Visual Studio, JetBrains, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break problems down.
- Ability to communicate ideas on a technical level.
- Understanding of SDLC/Software lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Linux.
- Familiarity with DevOps-based development and deployment of systems from CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiar with virtualization and/or containerization (Hypervisors, Kubernetes/workload orchestration, etc.).
- Networking skills - either able to describe networking concepts and/or have experience configuring and troubleshooting routers, switches, etc.
- Creative thinker capable of applying new information quickly to solve challenging problems.
- Comfortable providing technical leadership.
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways.
- Thorough knowledge of technology trends.

- Compensation Range: USD $112,924.00 - USD $125,275.00 /Yr.
