Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) seeks a part-time Adjunct Faculty member for the International and Global Studies (INTL) program. You will teach courses on a course-by-course basis as needed, educating students to be globally aware with strong analytical skills and cultural sensitivity.
What You'll Do
- Teach International and Global Studies (INTL) courses as a part-time adjunct faculty member.
- Educate students to be globally aware with analytical skills and sensitivity to culture and context.
- Teach introductory courses, thematic and area topic seminars, and global methods classes.
What We're Looking For
- PhD in a relevant discipline in the humanities.
Nice to Have
- Area expertise in Latin America and the Caribbean, Middle East and North Africa, Southern and Western Africa, East Asia, South Asia, Oceania, Europe, or the US and the World.
- Involvement in critical, interdisciplinary and innovative approaches to International and Global Studies.
- Ability to address how global perspectives are deployed and/or local-global dimensions are featured in teaching.

This role is part of the Humanities and Arts Department at WPI, a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located in Worcester.
