Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in graduate-level courses on UX research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Instruct undergraduate students in compositing, visual effects, and 2D/3D animation, including portfolio development and emerging technologies such as augmented and virtual reality.
- Teach foundational courses in design history, exploring the development of visual communication across time periods.
- Lead undergraduate coursework in motion design basics, animation principles, and narrative techniques using software including After Effects.
- Guide students in BFA programs through 3D modeling in Maya, covering UV mapping, texturing, and industry-standard production pipelines.
- Provide advanced instruction at the graduate level in experimental design, in-application user tracking, UX strategy, and data-driven frameworks for product development.
- Deliver BFA-level instruction in creating scalable branding systems using contemporary tools and AI-enhanced workflows for large-scale client applications in graphic design and visual identity.
- Work closely with academic leadership to monitor and advance course objectives and student outcomes.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful, and interactive classroom atmosphere.
- Follow institutional academic policies and uphold standards of academic honesty.
