Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end beta program schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation plans; maintain transparent status updates for all stakeholders.
- Coordinate software rollouts including over-the-air updates, on-demand features, app-based configurations, and vehicle variant coding across test vehicles.
- Establish data collection objectives and partner with analytics teams to generate performance metrics; convert results into executive-ready reports.
- Collaborate with regional partners to recruit qualified participants and deliver training materials that clearly communicate beta feature expectations.
- Conduct real-world evaluations of AD/ADAS systems under North American driving conditions; gather and analyze performance data to document system behavior.
- Use regional market knowledge to independently assess and rank issues for resolution, escalating critical items as needed.
- Perform initial diagnosis of system malfunctions; manage defect tracking, assist functional teams in resolving issues, and verify corrections.
- Prepare and distribute fault summaries and formal release recommendations on a defined schedule to relevant departments.
- Offer technical guidance on compliance with US and Canadian regulatory and certification standards for AD/ADAS systems.
- Analyze competitor technologies in terms of functionality, performance, and driver monitoring capabilities; provide development teams with comparative insights and improvement suggestions.
- Develop system and component performance criteria based on US road environments, driver patterns, and customer needs.
- Align local requirements with global function owners and external development partners to ensure consistency across vehicle programs.
- Present technical findings and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders to guide product evolution and testing focus.
- Maintain consistent communication with internal and external collaborators to monitor changes in timelines and interdependencies.
- Assist related engineering groups with feature development, troubleshooting, and release readiness updates.
- Design test strategies, routes, methodologies, and reporting structures tailored to ADAS validation projects.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators linked to ADAS testing outcomes.
- Lead process optimization initiatives and share testing results and best practices with international validation teams.
- Investigate US-specific traffic scenarios and environmental factors impacting AD/ADAS system performance.
