The Acumatica Senior Construction Consultant will lead key aspects of Acumatica Construction ERP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, configuration, training, testing, and go-live support. As part of NexTec Group, a Gold-certified Acumatica partner and nationally recognized consulting firm, you'll deliver successful client outcomes while contributing to a collaborative, client-focused, and innovative team environment.
What You'll Do
- Implement and support Acumatica ERP for new and existing customers.
- Design, configure, test, manage data conversion, and provide go-live support.
- Provide detailed consulting estimates and implementation project plans.
- Establish and maintain a 'trusted advisor' relationship with customers.
- Negotiate resolutions to business, process, and functional issues with stakeholders.
- Provide weekly status reports.
- Follow Acumatica’s implementation methodologies.
- Achieve utilization targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate expert proficiency in at least one main focus area and intermediate proficiency in two others, obtain relevant certifications, and build industry expertise.
- Lead requirements gathering and design activities.
- Interact with Consulting and Client Teams to collect information.
- Lead and/or oversee and provide guidance on configuration, training, testing, and go-live activities for medium-sized or complex projects.
- Proactively communicate project status, issues, and concerns to director, project manager, and/or architect/lead.
- Provide coaching and quality assurance to ensure team members follow NexTec Implementation Methodology and best practices.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Tailor communication style to interact effectively at multiple organizational levels and guide less experienced team members.
- Facilitate group discussions with team members and customers.
- Develop accurate written materials and support junior team members to uphold NexTec standards.
- Monitor project budgets and deliver within them.
- Independently manage work schedule and organize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Resolve scheduling and workload conflicts independently.
- Manage multiple activity streams and tasks simultaneously.
- Work with director or project manager to identify and delegate tasks to team members based on skill sets and project requirements.
- Take a leadership role in the change management process with a solid understanding of change management concepts.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Four-year degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent.
- Ability to adopt specific methodology and work within a team.
- Willingness to travel up to 30 percent.
- A minimum of three years of implementation and support experience with Acumatica, with a specific module focus on Construction.
- Experience working within customer-facing business functions.
