What You'll Do
Lead the expansion of a specialized medical device portfolio across hospitals, clinics, and emergency services in South Germany. Develop and implement a targeted sales strategy to meet annual revenue goals, focusing on both new customer acquisition and deeper penetration within existing accounts. Maintain accurate forecasts and performance tracking through consistent use of Salesforce, ensuring transparency and accountability in reporting.
Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations on-site, showcasing device functionality, safety protocols, and integration into critical care settings such as operating rooms, intensive care units, and neonatal departments. Support clinical and technical teams with training and post-installation follow-up to ensure smooth adoption. Represent the brand at medical events and congresses, building credibility and visibility within the healthcare community.
Collaborate with distribution partners to strengthen customer engagement and coordinate joint initiatives. Gather market insights on clinical challenges, competitor offerings, and procurement trends to inform business development strategies. Ensure all activities comply with medical device regulations, including documentation and customer communication practices.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Life Science field such as Medical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Nursing Science, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related area.
- Possess proven experience selling medical devices, particularly those used in hospital or emergency care environments.
- Demonstrate confidence in presenting technical products within clinical settings, addressing hygiene standards, safety requirements, and real-world use cases.
- Show a track record of meeting sales targets and managing time efficiently in a field-based role.
- Communicate technical details clearly to diverse audiences, including clinicians, nurses, and biomedical engineers.
- Have strong familiarity with healthcare procurement models, market dynamics, and emerging trends in patient care technology.
- Be fluent in both German and English (at least B2 level).
- Hold or be willing to obtain the 'Medizinprodukteberater' certification as defined by §31 MPG or its updated version.
