Entreflow Consulting Group is hiring an Accounting Technician

Responsibilities

  • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
  • Pushing bank feeds
  • Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Processing monthly/quarterly GST/PST/Payroll remittances
  • Supporting senior accounting technicians with full cycle bookkeeping tasks

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • Working towards your Canadian CPA Designation
  • Self-motivated, collaboratively focused
  • A willingness to constantly learn
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong technical accounting skills and understanding

Nice to Have

  • Tech Savvy (Experience using QuickBooks Online and/or Xero cloud accounting software an asset)
  • Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting an asset.
  • Experience in Canadian sales tax (GST,HST,PST etc.) is an asset

Additional Information

  • For our CPA candidates, we do not have a pre-approved program due to the nature of the complexity of our roles; however, you would have access to a CPA mentor within the firm and all previous CPA Candidates were successful with completing the higher level competency requirements for the experience report route with ease.
