Responsibilities
- Serve as a key advisor to senior accounting leadership, reporting directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, Senior Accounting Director, and Controller
- Supervise accounting and operations personnel during monthly closing cycles, financial reconciliations, reporting, and related tasks
- Deliver precise and timely financial statements and conduct monthly and quarterly variance analyses for balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Manage payroll and bonus accounting processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and period-end entries, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies
- Collaborate with Go-To-Market Operations to validate commission data, account for commissions appropriately, record journal entries, and maintain deferred commission schedules
- Administer intercompany transactions across legal entities, ensuring accurate eliminations and prompt settlements
- Lead initiatives to improve financial accuracy, internal controls, and operational efficiency
- Conduct accounting research to determine correct treatment under applicable standards and ensure proper reporting for non-routine transactions
- Identify and implement enhancements to accounting workflows, systems, tools, and data management practices
- Support the development and refinement of company-wide accounting policies, procedures, controls, and documentation
- Coordinate and facilitate annual financial audits by preparing required materials and managing auditor interactions
- Support special financial and accounting projects as required
