Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including handling incoming and outgoing invoices.
- Ensure compliance with Norwegian GAAP, VAT, and Tax requirements.
- Conduct account reconciliations and support monthly and year-end closing activities.
- Execute and maintain internal controls for designated areas.
- Participate in controlling activities, including budget tracking, cost control initiatives and performance analysis.
- Prepare and review internal reports, providing actionable financial insights to support management decision-making and oversight.
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or audit
- Strong understanding of Norwegian GAAP, VAT, and Tax regulations is required.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential
- Fluency in Norwegian and English is required
Nice to Have
- Experience from manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Experience with SOX/internal control frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is a plus.
- Knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in German is a plus.

Remote (Country) — Northern Europe, Oslo, Norway
