As an Account Manager in Advanced Surgery, you will act as a strategic liaison between healthcare providers and innovation, focusing on surgical solutions that enhance patient outcomes by reducing bleeding risks and supporting faster recovery.
What You'll Do
- Manage customer relationships across hospitals, identifying opportunities to expand the adoption of advanced surgical products
- Attend surgical procedures to provide real-time product support and clinical insights
- Deliver training sessions and workshops for medical teams to ensure effective use of new and existing technologies
- Develop data-driven strategies for revenue growth through customer analysis, pricing evaluation, and profitability planning
- Engage with key stakeholders in procurement, pharmacy, and clinic leadership to strengthen long-term partnerships
- Support product launches through pilot testing, scientific events, and peer-to-peer knowledge exchange
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain, and Bids & Tenders to align regional strategy with business goals
Requirements
- Degree in a medical, scientific, business, or health economics discipline
- Pharmaceutical representative certification (IHK) or knowledge per § 75 AMG – candidates without certification may obtain it during onboarding
- Strong initiative, communication abilities, and presentation skills
- Comfort using digital tools for sales and customer management
- Proficient in English
