About the Role
The Account Manager will manage existing client accounts, focusing on retention, upselling, and resolving issues in a proactive manner while working closely with support and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain relationships with current clients who speak German
- Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and support needs
- Monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account issues promptly
- Track account performance and report on key metrics regularly
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing client portfolios
- Support renewal processes and contract extensions
- Communicate product updates and new offerings to clients
- Gather client feedback and share insights with product teams
- Ensure service delivery meets agreed-upon standards
- Escalate technical or operational problems when necessary
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Coordinate onboarding for new clients when required
- Participate in client meetings and presentations
- Respond to client communications in a timely manner
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity
- Support sales efforts during cross-sell initiatives
- Follow up on service disruptions or outages with affected clients
- Assist in preparing account reviews and performance summaries
- Promote long-term client loyalty through consistent engagement
