Responsibilities
- Guide teams in collaborating with clients to develop targeted direct mail marketing strategies that enhance grassroots fundraising.
- Lead the creation, implementation, and production of innovative direct mail fundraising campaigns.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to align direct mail campaigns with other fundraising channels like email, SMS, and others.
- Develop and manage action-oriented reports to inform strategic decision-making.
- Support colleagues' professional development through training and intentional mentoring.
- Ensure client satisfaction by managing relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate within a team to provide clients with strategic direct mail marketing planning, including revenue forecasting and budgeting for account success.
- Work with client teams to assist in managing project resources and timelines.
- Support business development efforts and participate in new business pitches.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of in-house campaign, nonprofit, or agency experience in direct mail communications, fundraising, and marketing for nonprofit or political organizations.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to apply strategic direct marketing principles and being accountable for the overall success of a program or a major component of a large program.
- Client management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent verbal, analytical, written, and presentation skills.
- Passion for improving the world.
