Responsibilities
- Preparation and delivery of travel trade training presentations to travel agents both virtually and in-person
- Assist in the organization of sales missions and client visits including but not limited to venue sourcing, invite creation and on-site delivery
- Keep up to date on travel trade trends and visitor statistics to the destination as well as carrying out competitor analysis
- Support in the organisation of travel agent familiarisation trips to the destination including but not limited to itinerary liaison with the client and hosting the group
- Maintain trade databases for clients
- Ensure tracking of all KPIs against activity
- Support the team in all events, campaign and day-to-day reporting including but not limited to weekly, monthly and annual reports
Requirements
- Qualification to a degree level or at least 6 months experience working in sales and marketing
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple activities at one time
- Comfortable presenting to travel agents
- Strong written skills and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Some domestic and international travel will be required as well as evening events
Nice to Have
- Ideally experience in travel and tourism
- Passion for travel to North America is preferred
