Wayfinder is hiring an Account Executive to grow our partnerships and sales in the Rocky Mountain region of the US. In this role, you will be instrumental in expanding the reach of our purpose learning curriculum and training packages by building authentic relationships with schools. You'll report to the National Director, Sales.
What You'll Do
- Identify, secure, and expand new business to impact Wayfinder's reach.
- Work with a business development team to identify and contact interested schools.
- Have 4 to 6 meaningful conversations daily with prospective school partners and educators.
- Create authentic and long-lasting relationships with stakeholders in the education field.
- Serve as a problem-solver for schools, helping them see how Wayfinder advances their mission.
- Continuously follow up to help schools overcome barriers to bringing purpose learning on board.
- Visit potential school partners for site visits.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for new partners, including organizing trainings and processing invoicing.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years in a Sales, Fundraising, or Outreach role with a proven track record in a high-rejection environment.
- Self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Organized, able to manage conversations with hundreds of people from dozens of organizations.
- A good relationship builder who can make connections quickly.
- Familiarity with the K-12 education system, particularly high school.
- Purpose-Alignment: The role must fit your own sense of purpose and align with your personal story and values.
- Be persuasive and understand the value of the purpose learning movement.
Nice to Have
- Worked in K-12 schools as a teacher, counselor, or administrator.
- Worked in a traditional sales/outreach role and moved up the ranks.
- Experience working for a start-up.
- Background with Salesforce, Outreach.io, and Gong.

This is a remote position for candidates located in the Rocky Mountain region of the US, ideally in Colorado or Utah.
