Instructure is hiring an Account Executive Parchment, K-12

Responsibilities

  • Hold five initial meetings with new prospects each week.
  • Meet weekly with a Sales Development Representative to align on territory strategy and pipeline development.
  • Generate between $25,000 and $50,000 in new sales opportunities weekly, based on assigned territory.
  • Ensure all current-quarter opportunities have up-to-date contact details, accurate close dates, and detailed notes.
  • Make consistent progress toward meeting annual sales targets by year-end.
  • Carry a fully ramped annual sales quota ranging from $350,000 to $500,000, supported by a pipeline of $1 million to $2 million.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain a quarterly plan for territory management.
  • Follow a consistent and repeatable process for identifying and engaging prospects.
  • Lead multi-party sales cycles lasting 2 to 6 months for SaaS solutions, guiding deals from start to handoff to Customer Success.
  • Continuously expand knowledge of product offerings and refine sales techniques.
  • Deliver regular updates on sales pipeline and forecasts using Salesforce.
  • Stay current on competitive landscape, market developments, and new product launches.
  • Participate in sales meetings, product training sessions, and industry events.
  • Produce written materials such as presentations, reports, and pricing proposals.
  • Lead and manage contract discussions and finalization.
  • Demonstrate capability to sell multiple products to new customers.
