Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and acquire new customers across our target markets
- Connect with key decision-makers (IT leads, security and compliance owners, and management) and build successful business relationships
- Present, promote, and sell Sendent's solutions to meet and exceed sales targets
- Run deals end-to-end: qualification, demo coordination, quoting, negotiation, and close
- Negotiate quotes and contract terms that work for both the customer and Sendent
- Represent Sendent at Nextcloud and industry events across Europe (and occasionally beyond), working the booth, meeting prospects, and generating new business on the floor
- Keep the pipeline and customer data accurate and up to date in the CRM
- Forecast and track key sales metrics, and communicate progress clearly and transparently
- Work with the founders and (over time) marketing on outreach, lead generation, and go-to-market
- Help shape and document our sales process and tooling as the function grows, turning what works into something repeatable
Requirements
- Native-level German, combined with a strong understanding of German culture and business practices
- Working-level English proficiency (preferably C1/C2)
- A track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets, particularly in winning new customers, with proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or new-business account management
- Self-directed and hands-on: you don't wait to be told where the next opportunity is
- Confident communicating, presenting, and influencing at all levels, including IT decision-makers and management
- Excited to travel: you're happy to be on the road regularly for events and prospect meetings across Europe (travel is a required and recurring part of the role)
- Technical affinity for software; able to hold a credible conversation about integrations, security, and data control, or a quick study who's willing to learn our market fast
- Comfortable in a fast-growing, dynamic, international team where things move quickly and no two days are the same
- This is a hybrid role based around our Eindhoven office, so you live within roughly one hour's travel of Eindhoven
- Bachelor's or Master's level working and thinking (HBO/WO)
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 / Outlook ecosystem, Nextcloud, or open-source software
- Experience in security-, privacy-, or compliance-sensitive markets
- Experience setting up or improving a sales process and CRM tooling
