Responsibilities
- Engage with potential clients to build interest in commercial offerings
- Collaborate with current customers to identify opportunities for expanded product and service use
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals for qualified leads and closed deals
- Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
- Lead efforts to grow product adoption within the existing customer base
- Build and sustain relationships with clients showing potential to purchase commercial solutions
- Handle and assess incoming inquiries about product interest
- Deliver value at every interaction to create a strong initial impression
- Work with cross-functional teams to relay customer insights, influence product development, and support marketing initiatives
- Contribute to team growth through collaboration and mentoring
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience selling to mid-market or enterprise clients
- Prior experience selling technical products to developers or engineering teams is advantageous
- Proven history of meeting or exceeding performance goals
- Familiarity with all stages of B2B technology sales, including planning, qualification, handling objections, and closing
- Ability to lead and manage sales conversations effectively
- Strong ethical standards and a collaborative mindset
- Positive communication style, active listening, and clear written expression
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Background in technical products or the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts
- Familiarity with open-source software business models is a plus
- Sales training and experience using Salesforce are beneficial

Compensation
Canada: CA$147K – CA$210K OTE + equity; United States: $101.5K – $145K OTE + equity
