Responsibilities
- Achieve and surpass quarterly revenue targets within designated geographic areas
- Focus on acquiring clients among retailers, online marketplaces, and delivery platforms that fit the ideal customer profile
- Generate a robust sales pipeline using outbound outreach, industry events, educational workshops, LinkedIn engagement, referrals, and innovative networking strategies
- Demonstrate a proactive, results-driven mindset with consistent prospecting, timely follow-ups, and a competitive edge in winning requests for proposals
- Manage end-to-end sales processes from initial discovery through ROI storytelling, product demonstrations, technical coordination, proposal delivery, negotiation, and final contracting
- Interact with key decision-makers across executive leadership, finance, product, data, and engineering departments
- Partner with internal teams to establish feasible project timelines, assess technical requirements, and define commercial terms
- Ensure accurate sales forecasting, maintain organized pipeline tracking, and participate in weekly deal reviews
- Develop deep knowledge in retail media and marketplace technology, including monetization frameworks, auction mechanics, ad server operations, advertiser onboarding, onsite versus offsite strategies, and GMV-based revenue models
- Analyze competing platforms such as traditional ad servers, demand-side platforms, and retail media networks to clearly communicate competitive advantages
- Spot emerging market trends and provide clients with actionable, data-driven recommendations
- Master the company's core technology infrastructure, including auction systems, ad serving, optimization engines, reporting tools, and API integrations
- Clearly and confidently convey complex technical concepts, focusing on business value while simplifying implementation details
- Tailor product demonstrations to match each client's operational maturity and business model
- Leverage client data to illustrate potential return on investment, improvements in user adoption, and revenue generation impact
- Build and maintain high-level relationships, positioning as a trusted strategic advisor
- Conduct thorough account mapping to identify internal champions, opponents, technical stakeholders, procurement contacts, and decision influencers
