Responsibilities
- Oversee client public relations projects
- Identify and utilize necessary resources and tools to fulfill client marketing and PR goals, completing tasks that align with objectives
- Coordinate both internal and external resources, including vendors
- Inform team members about developments and proactively update the team on project status
- Propose solutions to address client requirements
- Plan and manage logistics for client press events, representing both the client and the agency on-site
- Monitor client program budgets, ensuring time and expenses stay on track
- Participate in client calls and meetings
- Interact directly with clients
- Anticipate and accommodate client needs
- Respond promptly to client requests for information
- Conduct outreach for traditional and social media relations
- Demonstrate knowledge of the media landscape, including social media, and leverage these channels to boost brand awareness and engagement for clients
- Draft press materials, and proofread and edit materials created by team members
- Engage with reporters and bloggers to secure media placements
- Build and maintain relationships with traditional and social media contacts on behalf of the agency and clients
- Review program results to provide analysis
- Assist in developing creative ideas and tactical elements for client programs
- Participate in agency brainstorming sessions for client programs
- Develop strategic and creative thinking skills
- Actively participate in agency committees or departments as assigned
- Take part in agency projects and events
- Help create presentations for new business or business renewal
- Develop and nurture relationships with suppliers
- Assist with account administration tasks as needed, such as compiling media coverage reports, coordinating and setting up client meetings, and handling product shipments
