Roster is hiring a Production Artist/Graphic Designer for our direct-to-consumer fashion brand. In this role, you will be responsible for designing original digital assets and preparing high volumes of production-ready files optimized for web and mobile platforms. You’ll join our growing digital e-commerce team.
What You’ll Do
- Design and produce digital assets including homepage banners, email graphics, product pages, paid ads, social media visuals, and promotional content.
- Resize and adapt creative for multiple digital channels, device types, and screen resolutions.
- Maintain consistency of brand identity across all e-commerce visuals.
- Work within pre-established templates and design systems while contributing new ideas and optimizations.
- Collaborate with copywriters, marketers, developers, and e-commerce teams to ensure creative aligns with messaging and technical specs.
- Manage versioning and localization of creative assets for different regions or campaigns.
- Organize and archive files in accordance with internal processes and asset management systems.
- Ensure all digital assets are optimized for performance, including file size, load speed, and responsiveness.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design and/or production art for digital platforms, preferably in an e-commerce merchandising environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of responsive design, digital specs, and file preparation best practices.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a sharp eye for alignment, color, and typography.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a retail or fashion e-commerce brand.
- Proficiency in Figma or Sketch.
- Basic motion design skills, such as using After Effects or creating GIFs.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards in digital design.
