Responsibilities
- Selecting, preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.) and cooking dishes according to recipes
- Carrying out interim checks, such as doneness, taste, colour, etc., and making adjustments where necessary
- Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene
- Coordinating and supervising assistant cooks and kitchen staff
- Keeping track of stock, ordering ingredients and checking deliveries
- Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment and workstations
- Reporting technical defects and resolving simple malfunctions
- Providing input regarding the composition and adjustment of menus, the menu card and working methods
Requirements
- You take initiative independently and act in a solution-oriented manner
- You work with confidence and are willing to take responsibility
- MBO level 3 working and thinking level, or equivalent vocational education level
- Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques
Compensation
Gross salary: €2,750 to €3,250
Additional Information
- Working hours and the schedule are flexible
