Responsibilities
- Design and deploy a highly available Kubernetes platform on edge environments using K3S in disconnected setups.
- Configure and optimize storage, networking, and CNI plugins within Kubernetes to ensure scalability and reliability.
- Utilize Rancher for cluster management and implement GitOps pipelines through ArgoCD.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to build stable solutions tailored for bare metal systems.
- Contribute to performance tuning, testing, and comprehensive documentation for production edge deployments.
Requirements
- 10 to 15 years of experience in systems architecture with strong focus on Kubernetes, specifically K3S, and bare metal environments.
- Proven experience operating Rancher and ArgoCD, along with deep knowledge of Kubernetes storage and networking components.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting using Python and/or Golang.
- Experience working with virtualization technologies, edge computing platforms, and air-gapped systems.
- Self-driven attitude with strong problem-solving capabilities and effective teamwork skills.
