Nearsure is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to apply extensive business and technical knowledge in building and managing production systems, with a focus on Object Storage. This role involves 80% hands-on coding and 20% mentoring and team management, collaborating with US clients from Latin America.

What You'll Do

Document, architect, and implement new React components, frontend applications, and backend services.
Support and develop software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
Help grow engineering teams by interviewing, recruiting, and hiring.
Estimate and plan out work through user stories and tasks.
Build and test new designs, formulations, materials, or systems for compliance with quality and/or performance standards.
Test new applications and services in a variety of environments.
Gauge platform performance and take corrective action to optimize system behavior.
Work side-by-side with key Principal and Distinguished Engineers to design and build scalable solutions.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience working with C# .NET, Java, or a similar OOP language.
5+ years of experience working with React.
5+ years of experience working with JavaScript ES6.
5+ years of experience working with TypeScript.
2+ years of experience working with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
2+ years of experience working with Databases: Document & Relational databases.
2+ years of experience working with Microservices.
1+ years of experience in a Leadership or mentor role.
An Advanced English level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients.
