1099 Physician - Advanced Practice Provider Supervision - Telehealth Assessment Remote Hello from our Medical Group. We're recruiting a Physician to join our Virtual Health Evaluation team. About the Position: You'll serve as a supervising physician for Advanced Practice Providers conducting health assessments for our health plan members via telemedicine. Patient care delivery is not part of your responsibilities. You will report directly to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment. Residency is required in specific states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia. State list may change. #LI-Remote Compensation Transparency: $300 per Advanced Practice Provider monthly for supervision duties. Malpractice insurance will be provided. Responsibilities: - Provide direct oversight of nurse practitioners and physician assistants per state regulations - Collaborate with medical staff across service lines - Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations - Additional assigned duties Requirements: - Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - MD or DO from accredited medical school - Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant supervision experience - Must reside in Georgia - Active Georgia state medical license - 3+ years outpatient family/internal medicine practice experience - Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies - Familiarity with HEDIS quality improvement measures Bonus Qualifications: - 2+ years telemedicine experience - Spanish fluency - Interstate Medical Licensure Compact physician license - Licensed in specified states Oscar Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to cultivating an inclusive environment where individuals can be authentic and supported.
