Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed medical devices to patient residences
- Assemble and configure equipment according to clinical specifications
- Train patients and family members on safe operation of therapy tools
- Verify correct usage during follow-up visits
- Document service delivery and patient status accurately
- Troubleshoot technical issues with devices in the field
- Report equipment malfunctions or needed repairs
- Maintain compliance with infection control protocols
- Follow safety procedures during transport and setup
- Coordinate delivery schedules with dispatch or supervisors
- Collect required patient signatures and documentation
- Ensure inventory accuracy for assigned equipment
- Respond to urgent patient needs on short notice
- Communicate changes in patient condition to clinical staff
- Adhere to HIPAA and patient privacy standards
- Maintain professional appearance during home visits
- Provide clear instructions in non-clinical language
- Assist with oxygen tank replacements as needed
- Monitor supply levels and reorder when necessary
- Support patient transitions between care phases
- Participate in required safety and product training
- Follow company protocols for emergency situations
- Use GPS and mobile tools for route efficiency
- Report field challenges impacting patient care
- Maintain vehicle in safe operating condition
