Essential Duties & Responsibilities Shift Leadership & Operations: Serves as the Donor Legacy shift leader, providing real-time oversight, operational decision-making, staff deployment, and workload balancing. Staff Coaching & Support: Provides immediate coaching, guidance, and emotional support to DLAs during routine and complex cases; supports strategy development and escalates risks or concerns to On-Duty Donor Legacy Risk when appropriate. Family Donation Conversation Support: Reviews case and family information, advises on timing and approach for authorization discussions, and supports DLAs in facilitating compassionate, informed, and ethical family donation conversations in alignment with policy and regulation. Quality, Performance & Development: Reviews documentation and case activity in real time for accuracy and quality, identifies workflow trends and opportunities, provides training feedback, and participates in case reviews, debriefings, and performance analysis.
