Unithai Group is a multi-faceted international organisation with primary business interests in shipping, logistics, shipyard and offshore-engineering operations, fully committed to the continued industrial, social and economic development of Thailand and the region.
Established in 1976 as United Thai Shipping Corporation Limited, the company began with the aim of linking Thailand and the West. Over the years, it expanded into key sectors including marine and offshore engineering, container terminal operations, freight forwarding, warehousing, and logistics.
In 1990, Unithai opened a major shipyard to serve Thailand’s growing maritime sector. In the mid-1990s, it launched the only fully equipped private container terminal on the Chao Phraya River and expanded into onshore and offshore logistics. The company later diversified into offshore oil and gas engineering and shipbuilding, supporting national industrial growth.
Today, Unithai Group operates across multiple domains including shipping agency services, container terminals, fabrication, decommissioning, and EPCI solutions, serving both domestic and international markets with high-quality, sustainable practices.
