Trusted Thailand is a government-led initiative launched to strengthen global confidence in Thailand as a safe and welcoming destination for international visitors. The program introduces the “Trusted Thailand” stamp, a certification given to tourism operators who meet rigorous safety and service standards, helping travelers make informed choices.
The initiative focuses on key sectors including accommodations, restaurants, attractions, recreational venues, and shopping centers. Certification is based on four core areas: general safety measures such as CCTV and emergency response systems; secure financial transactions using globally recognized platforms; foreign language communication and professional visitor care; and safe access and mobility with clear signage and transport connections.
The project is led by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in collaboration with agencies like the Department of Provincial Administration, Tourist Police Bureau, and Department of Land Transport. It includes public forums, safety workshops, and targeted campaigns to rebuild trust, especially among key markets such as China, South Korea, Japan, the US, the UK, and Europe.
With a nationwide launch planned for October 2025, the program aims to project a modern, stable, and safe image of Thailand through multilingual content, digital campaigns, and influencer collaborations, reinforcing the message: “Travel Thailand with Confidence Every Step of the Way.”
