The Luminos Fund is an international education nonprofit that provides transformative education programs to thousands of vulnerable children, helping them catch up to grade level, reintegrate into government schools, and prepare for lifelong learning.
In just one school year, the organization teaches students to read and do math—learning how to learn—through a joyful, activity-based curriculum. Its mission is to ensure all children have equal access to joyful, foundational learning, especially those shut out of education by crisis, poverty, or discrimination.
The organization operates in Ethiopia, Ghana, Lebanon, Liberia, and The Gambia, and is guided by a holistic approach centered on community partnerships, teacher-led assessment, and iterative design.
