Nordic Innovation is an organization under the Nordic Council of Ministers. We aim to make the Nordics a pioneering region for sustainable growth by promoting entrepreneurship, innovation and competitiveness in Nordic businesses.
We support the Nordic prime ministers’ vision that the Nordic region will become the most sustainable and integrated region in the world by 2030. Nordic Innovation acts as a catalyst and enabler in this vision by bringing together forces across sectors, borders and disciplines to drive solutions that create lasting change and value.
Our work is focused on initiatives with Nordic added value—where cross-border cooperation generates more value than national efforts alone. We run innovation programs in areas such as sustainable construction, circular economy, AI and data, green mobility, and health tech, among others.
We are headquartered in Oslo, Norway, and collaborate with public and private stakeholders across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Iceland, as well as the autonomous territories of Greenland, the Faroe Islands, and Åland.
