ICMA has over 630 members located in 71 jurisdictions drawn from both the sell and buy-side of the market. It serves as a global community for the capital markets, engaging with its membership on market practice and regulatory policy issues through expert forums.
ICMA supports the development of sustainable finance and provides guidance through initiatives such as the Green Bond Principles (GBP), the Social Bond Principles (SBP), and other frameworks. It also leads work on fintech, digitalisation, and regulatory policy across primary and secondary markets.
